| Triptych |

The triptych depicts the crucifixion of Jesus surrounded by a narrative that tells the story of the martyrdom of some of the 117 men and women from throughout Vietnam who were put to death for their faith in Jesus. The Martyrs of Vietnam died between the years of 1830 and 1883 and were canonized Saints by Pope John Paul II in 1988. |
