Tuesday, January 19, 2010
The 42-voice Northwestern College Women’s Choir, under the direction of Dr. Linell Gray Moss, will sing at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City for 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday, Jan. 31.
The ensemble will sing a new composition for women’s voices and organ by Dr. Heather Josselyn-Cranson, associate professor of music and director of music ministries at Northwestern. Entitled O Gracious Light, the piece was completed in November and premiered at Church of the Savior in Orange City last month.
Bishop R. Walker Nickless will celebrate Mass. Nickless is the Roman Catholic bishop for the Diocese of Sioux City.
