| Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools are celebrating National Catholic School Week beginning Sunday, January 29th. This is an annual celebration of the important role that Catholic schools play in providing a values-added education for our youth. |

| The Extraordinary Form Mass will be celebrated on Sunday February 12th at 7:30 am in the Cathedral. This Mass is celebrated on the second Sunday of each month and all are welcome to participate. |

| Stations of the Cross |

The fouteen Stations of the Cross mark a processional route that commemorates the last hours of the life of Jesus. The ancient tradition of the Stations is inspired by the places along the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, the route Jesus walked from the Roman Praetorium to Golgatha, the place of His death. These Stations were a gift from the people of St. Thomas parish in Emmetsburg, Iowa. They date from 1905. |
