The statue of St. Joseph depicts him as a beardless worker who holds his hand in protection over the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Joseph is the patron of the Universal Church and the patron saint of fathers and all who labor for a living. The statue was comissioned for the renovation project and was carved in the studios of Conrad Moroder.
